“Housing Hits Trifecta of Bad News”
I certainly am aware that we are the midst of the worst housing situation in America since the early ‘90s, and one that may be the worst since the depression era. USA Today highlighted the problems on the front page of its Money section: high foreclosure rates, falling prices and vacant homes. Miami leads the way in falling prices, Nevada in foreclosures and vacant homes for sale across the nation are 800,000 than would be the case in a normal market. Make Your Voice Heard
Believe it or not, nothing speaks more powerfully than the people. As longtime Speaker of the House of Representative, Tip O’Neil once said, “All politics is local.” One person can make a difference. That’s why it is important for you to Make Your Voice Heard on issues that most affect your financial and personal well-being…your home.
Often, people feel that there is no where for them to turn, no forum or venue for them to speak out. Or, people get frustrated on where to start, is it national, state or local? AHAA recognizes that problem and gives people, not only the opportunity but the mechanism to do just that. Your home and your community are too important for you not to get involved.
Let your elected officials know that you are listening and you are not going to sit back and let them make bad policy decisions. Get involved today, Make Your Voice Heard.
